Midweek Matches, Cup Finals & Play-Offs & Free Dates

Midweek Matches
Just a reminder that midweek matches will begin on Tuesday 16 & Thursday 18 April. Kick-offs will, initially, be at 6.30pm. moving to 7.00pm. as the light improves. If teams have access to a pitch with floodlights, they should make the Match Secretary aware of any changes to kick-off times.
Scores should be phoned in by 9.30pm. at the latest but, preferably, as soon as possible following the final whistle so that the website can be updated.
Teams with a backlog or playing several matches fewer than other teams in their league should expect midweek matches however, teams with only a few matches to play may well have midweek matches to accommodate those in their league who have several games still to play.

Cup Finals & Play-Offs
The Office Bearers are working hard to secure pitches for the 23 cup finals which have to be played. Patience is required as many arrangements need to be in place before we can schedule cup finals. The availability of sponsors, neutral venues, teams being in more than one cup final, free dates, referees; 3 officials are required for cup finals and. of course, the weather all come into play.
A Cup Final & Play-Off Planner will be placed on the website under Fixtures and will be updated as we know when cup finals and play-offs (if required) are to be played and what the venue might be as well as kick-off times. Arrangements may be provisional to begin with.
Teams are reminded that these matches may be played on any day of the week as we are grateful to teams giving us their pitches for our finals.

Free Dates
All free dates should have been applied for by the 1st of April. Please, do not apply for free dates, now, and be upset when they are declined.
